Country Music Star Travis Tritt Involved In Fatal DUI Accident – Perez Hilton

Country music legend Travis Tritt ‘ s tour bus was back swiped in the midst of a lethal DUI accident outside Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Friday night.

According to Tritt’s own Twitter report, the singer and his strip had just gotten done with a show in Myrtle Beach and were leaving on Veteran’s Highway outside of town, when they were sideswiped during a massive crash involving a driver running the wrong way on the highway.

According to Tritt, at least two people were dead as a result of the accident — and though his tour bus full of parties was fine( the vehicle itself prolonged some shattering ), the country legend was understandably exceedingly shaken up by the entire incident.

He reported the events on his personal Twitter account overnight, sharing a picture of the sound situation itself while writing in a series of tweets to his nearly 100,000 followers( below ):

” We has only just been involved in a fatal accident with a driver leading the wrong way on Veteran’s Highway as we were leaving Myrtle Beach. Thank God we are all okay. I feel so bad for those who died needlessly tonight. I’m really shaken up by what I evidenced. God bless those who died. We held minor expense as we tried to avoid the crash site in front of us. Bus damage can be fixed, but lives cannot be replaced. I’m so incredibly sad for those who lost their lives tonight .”

Ugh … so sad.

And he persisted( below ):

” I’m told that two beings were killed in tonight’s accident as the the result of someone who was obviously driving drunkard or diminished. Precisely a somber remember to everyone to never drive if you’ve been drinking or diminished in any way. Uber or Lyft is just a phone call away. I beg everyone to please, satisfy, delight drive somber. Know when to admit that you are too impaired to drive. We merely were sideswiped in tonight’s accident. It could’ve been so much worse. God was obviously watching over us tonight. I praise God for deterring us safe !”

So, so scary — even to be tangentially involved, we can’t imagine the feeling toll it would take to see that shipwreck and be that close and … ugh. Just awful.

Here are Tritt’s tweets about the episode, with the accident picture included( below ):

Truly an awful, nasty darknes for two genealogies who lost loved ones, and all the friends and others close to those who will never return from that accident.

Our thoughts and condolences are with everybody involved in the painful crash.

R.I.P….
