Netflix has exhausted the official trailer for When They Find Us , the four-part miniseries from Ava DuVernay that tells the story of the Central Park Five, five young black mortals incorrectly convicted of abuse in New York City in 1989.
According to Netflix, the line will shield the entire 25 years between the April 19, 1989 assault of Trisha Meili and the 2014 colonization between New York City and the five men — Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana and Korey Wise — who expended times in jail for misdemeanours they didn’t devote.
The Hollywood Reporter observes the sequence just goes to show the events from the perspective of those five young men. And, in the excerpt above, you’ll even catch a flashing of the abominable full-page ad taken out by Donald Trump in May 1989, announcing for the execution of the five sons.
DuVernay co-wrote and steered the sequence, which peculiarity a sterling shoot, including Michael K. Williams, Joshua Jackson, Niecy Nash, Framke Janssen, and Felicity Huffman. But if the trailer is any sign, the five young actors dallying the central characters are going to be the standouts of the line and transgress our centers into a million pieces.
When They Consider Us reaches Netflix on May 31, 2019.
