Sarah Palin visualized she was going to be in a “legit Showtime historical documentary.” Turns out, it was just a escapade by prankster Sacha Baron Cohen.
For his anticipated brand-new seven-episode line Who Is America ? em> Cohen has apparently been filming interrogations with U.S. politicians for a year — but often in guise or undercover.
And that includes Palin, who speaks she was “duped” into travelling throughout the country with her daughter for the purposes of an interrogation with Cohen, who “had heavily disguised himself as a disabled US Veteran, phony wheelchair and all.” The interview was apparently requested through a “speakers bureau.”
In a particularly furious Facebook pole, Palin showed her madnes against the comedian, announcing she had “join[ ed] a long directory of American public identities who have fallen victim to the cruelty, exploitive, sick ‘humor’ of the British ‘comedian.'”
Palin does she was led to believe she would be having a “thoughtful discussion with someone who had served in attire, ” but after putting up with “a long ‘interview’ full of Hollywoodism’s disrespect and satire, ” she took off her mic and left.
“The disrespect of our US military and middle-class Americans via Cohen’s foreign commentaries under the appearance of interrogation cross-examines was perverse, ” wrote Palin afterwards. She also shed down some fightin’ words.
“Here is my challenge, shallow Sacha boy: plow ahead – air the footage. Experience tells us it will be heavily edited , not jolly, and intended to humiliate.”
“Mock politicians and innocent public identities all you want, if that lets you sleep at night, but HOW DARE YOU tease those who have engaged and performed our country. Truly sick.”
Palin then provoked Cohen, along with producers at CBS and Showtime to donate the show’s advantages to a kindnes patronizing American ex-servicemen. Palin too accused the yield squad of “purposefully” plunging herself and her daughter off at the mistaken airfield, and causing them to miss their flights back to Alaska from D.C.
Finally, Palin brought out the big guns.
“Feel good and manly about your M.O ., Sacha?
“By the way, two daughters thinks you’re a piece of ****, Sacha. Every honorable American Vet should feel the same.”
Palin’s not the only one on the Baron Cohen chopping block — he taunted a video on Twitter of onetime Vice President Dick Cheney autographing what he calls a “waterboard kit.”
Cohen is unlikely to respond. Instead ,< em > Who Is America ? em> is set to premiere on July 15 on Showtime. Hold onto your hats .
