Unions in World Cup match plea to bosses

As the Football world cup gets under way in Russia, the UK’s trade unions have exhorted honchoes to be flexible with staff who want to follow the football action.

The TUC suggests workplaces that operate flexible working can allow staff members to kept their hours in all there is going the chance to see all the crucial games.

“It’s important supervisors do not orchestrate an own objective by behaving like killjoys, ” pronounced general secretary Frances O’Grady.
