End of Days

Listen to End of Days with Daniel in the Den

I wanted to comment on the news this week about Glenn Beck being diagnosed with Macular Dystrophy. He was told that he will eventually lose his sight but it is uncertain how long it will take.

I find it interesting that the two most listened to and influential conservatives in America today, being Limbaugh and Beck, are dealing with deafness and blindness.

In Isaiah 6:9-10, Isaiah is told by God to speak to the people and say, “Keep on hearing but do not understand; Keep on seeing but do not perceive. Make the heart of this people dull and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return and be healed.”

I know Limbaugh and Beck are not prophets but they seem to be the only mouth-pieces out there standing up for what is right and moral and just. This should make the people of God jealous and zealous…desirous to speak mightily for the Eternal.

Why is it at this time that the only ones speaking out for what is truthful is a deaf pain-killer addict and a blind alcoholic? I am certain it has to do with the message I gave in the episode titled, “That No Flesh Should Glory” (Check it out in the archives).

You can question their sincerity all you want. That is a defense mechanism we all use when we don’t want to hear the message. If the message cuts to the marrow and you cannot take it, then kill the messenger.

I have witnessed a truth in the world: That the courage and conviction we often lack in our own lives, we mistaken for arrogance and closed-mindedness in others.

It is time to grow up and stop beating up on the messengers (they already know they are imperfect–and even if they didn’t, that is their problem) and start listening to the message.

Their solutions are misguided and their optimism is unfounded (perhaps their own deafness and blindness) but their observations are dead-on and they know the enemy is secular humanism–gnosticism.

The true deafness and blindness is not their own but the American peoples.

There is a time coming very shortly when God says, “I will give power to My two witnesses and they will prophesy 1260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” –Revelation 11:3

It is very unlikely that Limbaugh and Beck will be those two witnesses unless God in fact does pour out His Holy Spirit mightily on them to finish His work.

My point is that there will be two individuals who will speak out mightily in the name of God for America to repent before the 5th Seal is opened. Then during the Great tribulation of 1260 days, those two witnesses will be given supernatural powers to withstand the forces of evil and continue their cry to the peoples of the earth to repent.

Isaiah asks how long the people will remain deaf and blind. God says, “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, The houses are without a man, The land is utterly desolate.” –Isaiah 6:11

I am afraid that with so many already unwilling to listen to Limbaugh and Beck and unwilling to see what they see, how much the more will they be ready to kill the true servants of the Eternal when they appear?

Jesse Jackson, there he goes again!

July 12th, 2010 • FGRN.net, Gilberts letter, LeBron's big announcement, NBA, Sports, The world is on crack, something to see1 Comment »

BFRS 125
Cav’s owner Dan Gilbert has been receiving much criticism for posting an open letter to Cav’s fans on NBA.com (click here to view the letter), some of the letter which I can’t disagree with. Especially the the inference to James’ attention whoring attempt(my words) of The LeBron James Show on ESPN, which was used to make his announcement of his departure from Cleveland to Miami. Even NBA Commissioner David Stern threw his 2 cents in by fining Gilbert $100,000 dollars for criticizing James’ departure. But Jesse “Mr. jump on the race card opportunist” Jackson has reached an all time low coming out with the following qoute, “He (Gilbert) speaks as an owner of LeBron and not the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality. He sees LeBron as a runaway slave.” WTH? He goes on to say, “This is an owner employee relationship — between business partners — and LeBron honored his contract.”

Does everyone agree with the open letter Gilbert posted, heck no! Gilbert may have been better served getting some help for James through free agency in an attempt to keep him in Cleveland, but that being said, Jesse Jackson is way out of bounds. To take an owners frustration of one of the best players, if not the best player in the NBA’s departure from his team and attributing it to the reaction of a slave owner is just wrong. The last I checked James wasn’t forced to play for the Cavs. He negotiated with and signed a contract and was payed and treated very well. Jesse Jackson, shut the heck up! Why is it that whenever there is a disagreement between an African-American and an executive or owner of a business or franchise equals racism? I think it could be more of a case of Jesse Jackson pulling a Brett Favre like attempt at attention whoring one’s self. Yes, why not use someone’s story to get your 15 seconds at fame. You haven’t been making news lately so use this to get your name out there BS. Well in this case Mr. Jackson it worked, but once again you showed you are the true ass clown in the mix.

Lebron is heading for the heat

July 8th, 2010 • FGRN.net, NBA, Special Announcement, Sports, The Bear fan Ron Show, Uncategorized1 Comment »

BFRS 125Sighting the chance to win right away, LeBron chooses to sign with the Miami Heat. Making his announcement on ESPN’s LeBron James Ass Clown Circus show, stated that Miami has done the things to build a championship now. The only question is, who else are the going to sign to the minimum to help finish the puzzle. Only time will tell with this one. Congrats to the Heat with their big free agency signings.

Good luck to the Bulls fans as well whom have to relish the great signing of Carlos Boozer. Yes the Bulls will be improved, but as usual Bulls fans could be wondering what could have been. In a week where Dwayne Wade called for a second meeting in the presence of Chris Bosh with the Bulls brass that went for not, and obviously the meeting with James went nowhere as well. Was it the Bulls weren’t able to make the sell, or just not enough cash to go around? In time I guess we’ll find out.

My LeBron James prediction is…

BFRS 125Well tonight is the big night, the night that Lebron makes his big announcement of where he will play the next few season and make whatever team he signs with an instant NBA championship contender. First of all, I don’t mind all of the Lebron talk yet, but it is getting close to Brett Favre scale bs. In fact, one of my good freind’s is calling LeBron, LeBrett, due to all of his attention seeking whoring. It could be a fitting name lol. Nothing like having a press conference /ass clown circus on ESPN just to announce the lucky team. I guess you could say that is going a bit far, but nonetheless it will be a well watched event. I have a whole different take on this ass clown circus however, and if it happens you will hear it here first (or read it here first for that matter).

It is well known that Lebron (LeBrett) idolizes Michael Jordon. He currently wears his number with the Cavs, tries to emulate him and has even said he wants to be as great as Mike one day. Well here’s my call, LeBron wanting to be like his idol retires from the game he loves, basketball, to pursue his dream of being a major league baseball player. He struggles in the minors for 3 years, he lets Rose and Noah mature, announces his comeback to basketball and signs with the Bulls. LOL Well maybe not but that would be funny if it did happen. Only time will tell.

I hope you can check out the Bear fan Ron show Friday night live at 10pm CDT 11pm EDT on Fgrn.net as well as on www.talkshoe.com/tc/60541 and the Bear fan Ron Show website www.thebearfanronshow.com On Friday’s show we will be talking about the LeBron James signing, the top sports headlines of the week, and of the day, the NFL, NBA, NHL, and a heck of a lot more. Former LSU and Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell Busted for cough Syrup?

July 5th, 2010 • FGRN.net, Host post, NFL, The Bear fan Ron Show, UncategorizedNo Comments »

BFRS 125
Former LSU and Oakland Raider JaMarcus Russell according to reports was busted at his home during a police sting and charged with a possession of a controlled substance, his drug of choice, codeine cough syrup. You have to be kidding me!!! Mr. Russell did not have a prescription for the cough syrup.

According to police, the arrest was a result of a narcotics sting and would not go into details of how and what led to the sting or his arrest. The irony in this whole thing. Just days short of the reports stating that “the Raiders ruined Russell,” by highly regarded QB’s tutor and coach Tom Martinez, Russell gets busted for having codeine cough syrup. I suppose is incident was the fault of the Oakland Raiders as well. lol.

But in all seriousness. This world is whacked. As a kid, I can remember family members sharing prescriptions when needed. Especially codeine cough syrup. Well as it turns out I guess my Grandma was a crook. As well as me. I know the whole story hasn’t been told and Russell has been known to have issues (though not with drugs that I know of) can’t these Alabama cops find something better to bust people on? Just saying.

Bob Probert in his playing Days

What a mad man!

Former Red Wing and Blackhawk, Bob Probert dies at the age of 45

July 5th, 2010 • Chicago Blackhawks, FGRN.net, Hockey, Host post, NHL, SportsNo Comments »

BFRS 125
Bob Probert one of the most feared enforcers during his time in the NHL dies today at the age of 45. According to reports while boating with his family, he developed sever chest pains. His father in law, Dan Parkinson performed CPR on Probert but attempts to revive him failed.

Probert was the type of player where you loved him if he was part of your team and hated him when he played against you. Despite his battles with drugs and alcohol, he was regarded as a great teammate and unifier in the locker room with those that played with him.

As far as this Blackhawks’ fan, I will never forget his grit and determination on the ice. The battles he had with his fists were classic. Though he was toward the end of his career with the Hawks and his skills were in decline, he gave it his all and was fun to watch play the game of hockey. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Bob Probert. May he finally have peace.
